As the capital, Folstina is the first to see advances in things such as magic and tech. What's useful in battle can find unexpected uses at home, such as equipment that can alter one's physique or potions that can temporarily change one's build to suit the quest at hand.
People who want to have a more active hand in shaping their gender and their bodies tend to have three classes of magic they can pursue, based on how long it lasts.
Class 1 (temporary) are spells or potions that wear off after a certain time, or equipment that has certain body effects. These are usually worn for people who want to TRY OUT what it's like to have a certain body type, regardless of gender.
Class 2 (permanent - gradual) are things like medications or sub-branches of magic that are designed to alter one's body through willpower. These take a long time to fully develop, but they are usually the most common option for people who want to transition, occupying a sweet spot between cost and versatility.
Class 3 (permanent - instant) is any procedure that changes your appearance and body permanently. These are the most expensive and require specialists to perform (such as Malori's master), but they offer the most control over the appearance, abilities, and all that.
So, what does Leora "really" have down there? Is she wearing a magical Str*p-on (pp+) or a Str*p-in (pp-)? Nobody knows!

Leora seems like the kinda girl who is quite comfortable in a lot of her body's naturally selected traits (and loves some romantic t4t), so I always envisioned her as doing a classical traditional-like Class 2 transition (very similar to IRL hrt transitioning) where she effectively has magic HRT that helps her grow breasts, develop different muscle/fat density, hair softness etc, but has not had Class 3 type changes to her genitals or internal organs. Thats just my transfem headcanon anyways. TBH the King gives me the vibe of a transman who got full Class 3 as a young teen before going out on his adventures.

Very cool. To my shame: I was for a Moment confused with the first picture. But then I realised, that you just did, what I actually also determined for the high fantasy setting I'm wrighting: If the magic can ressurrect people, makes teleportation possible, maybe even time manipulation, then it should be a walk in the park to accomodate queer people and everyone who wants to try something out, with the bodies, ways of reproduction, etc. they need/want. As long as they have the ressources, its not written as an utopia. I find it today so deeply queer ignorant and unimaginative when e.g. settings for fantasy ttrpgs still dont officially give you options to change the s.e.x of your characters body and simply ignore this option in lore most of the time, even if its possible. Sure things change slowly, but the option to do this was there since the beginning. I really hope for the brightly rainbow coloured fantasy movement to get more traction. The dreary grim dark is really not what we need in this age, at least in my opinion.
