Thanks for your text. Yes, they are a tragically short lived species. Centaurs live roughly one third of a human lifespan. Imagine what that means for relationships. Bonds, love, and choices become much more intense. And imagine what it means to break away from the safety of tradition when your life is so short. Basir’s choices carry even more weight because of this, and the Vaulark system of exploitation appears even more cruel.

WOW!!! I honestly think it's a bit tragic that centaurs (In this universe) have such a short lifespan...I wish they lived at least HALF as long as humans!!!
