Something from Mass Effect?
🕑 Added 2024-05-14 20:48:24 +0000 UTCI recently purchased Mass Effect Legendary at a big discount. I discovered that all the games were transferred to 64 bits, which gives me the opportunity to take 3D pictures of the scene using current hardware, which helps in recreating interiors.
In general, I wouldn’t mind, for example, building the “Silversun Strip” location from the third part, there is still some kind of bar left there, something like a casino... for example, trying to combine it with my 2015 map (apartments).
In general, is the theme of Mass Effect still relevant? Is it worth trying to port something from ME2 / ME3? (The first game is too poor).

I had a feeling it would be something like that. The quality that Cyberpunk has is too high to introduce it to sfm. Anyway, I look forward to your next content😃

Unfortunately there will be no ports from the CP2077. I spent three days studying this engine and was simply shocked at how poorly everything was done there. The entire city and interiors are assembled from hundreds of Lego bricks. Well, that is. Imagine any sandbox/survival type game, where you are given some blocks and need to use them to build your home, for example. An unrealistic number of extra polygons that the player will never see. And for dessert, almost every material consists of 10-20 different textures and masks, which at the moment can only be stuffed into Blender. To get a real physical texture for any object, you will have to render it in blender. As a result, it will take more than a month to port the smallest room, this is not practical.

I myself wouldn’t mind porting some interiors, I even got all the coordinates and models, but when I started to figure out where and what the texture was, I saw just a terrifying picture of 10 different masks, various mixing, painting and other things.

Better make Cyberpunk 2077 maps. Visually it is more attractive😎😉
