Hi David, it's mostly just a time thing. At some point I want to check the DPR of all damaging spells, but I select a few for each video in order to keep up with content.

I hope it is true that classes have more mechanical identity and trade utility for single target damage or vice versa.

Treantmonk I really appreciate all your hard, as I'm sure as does everyone else. Great video. For humbly IMO, if a full caster can keep up with the warlock baseline, I think it's fine.

One question: Treantmonk, you mentioned trying summoning spells in your next video. Is there any reason you didn't try any of them in this base video? After all, it is a base class feature at 10th level that gives you access to them. Or are you wanting to include them from 6th level on as a Lore Bard?

This puts CME even more in perspective. On the one hand, it's clearly overpowered when upcast, coming in well ahead of any martial builds. On the other hand, no other combination of spells seems to even come close to keeping up with martial builds in single target damage.
