I think they had druid in mind for cme and forgot that bards and wizard could abuse it . also I feel like they didn't think about it scaling.

Last video he said he was skipping wizard and cleric cause he suspected that their single target dpr wouldn't be significant enough. That their strengths would lie more in utility and AoE.

Am I missing something, I didn't' seen wizard listed anywhere. Are they just not ranked in damage because they are so low? That's seem wild.

Yes, it's a pity you (Treantmonk) don't give your opinion on the dual wielding Fighter 1 / Valor Bard X build Colby has posted. I believe it might be one of the most versatile builds in the game and may also be very powerful (depending on the final version of CME, of course)

A shame that CME wasn't among the spells that already got a balance pass on DND beyond. It seems to be really important for Gishes, but the currently printed version is just insane when upcast. I hope that the "1d8 every level" version makes the race, because "1d8 every second level" may be too weak considering you have to spend an action precasting it (Colby has already somewhat weakened his initial verdict of overpoweredness)

I don't think the GWM build is doing the valor bard justice, true strike just doesn't synegize well with GWM. Either go shillelah/fighter or dipping another level into warlock for EB and concentrate on spirit shrouds will make the valor bard alot better in the numbers.

Would we then considered greatsword pally & warlock & true strike ranged rogue then the baselines? none of them have subclasses. they're all extremely simple to play and have things they can do other than damage? all achieve 213 middle of the pack
