(NSFW) Art Test - Round 2 Submissions

Several weeks ago I posted an open casting call for artists to help out with the next game (visual novel) since it's going to be lots of work and we want to try and have it out early next year. Soooo that lead me to this big 'ol search for an awesome artist who could match my style and fit my specs. This is round 2's submissions. I paid them for their work and got permission to post them:Melow:
Melow has a great style and it was awesome that she left her comfort zone to try and match my style. I love the way she shaded BonBon's hair. Unfortunately though her posing is a bit stiff and it makes Bonnibel look like she's in an awkward forced pose. Also the shading is too airbrushed and soft, when I'm looking for a sharper cel-shaded style. Something seemed off in the way her face/eyes were done too... So overall, it was a good illustration but didn't match my expectations.

I love Mur's stuff!! Cassie turned out beautiful, and Mur went above and beyond with the coloring/shading. I thought it was a bit strange that she ignored my cel-shaded style and took it further down her own style's realm but it turned out OK. It might sound like contradictory but this 'more advanced' cel-shaded style would actually work nicely outside of the game. Like in website/promotional materials and hopefully bookmarks/posters. It's such a cute rendering and the character is so full of life that I decided Mur should do a few more of our girls ^-^

I'm so in love with Tonee's style!! It's what I strive for with mine, but he just does it so much better than I can XD This is obviously a NSFW submission but it's good for showing his understanding of anatomy, etc. Personally I think he nailed the look/style and I'm just waiting on seeing the final-final to pick areas where he can improve, but it's a really fantastic looking art test. I hope he wants to collaborate with me on the upcoming Visual Novel! Scenes like this would be really great for the adult version of the game...

Yeah the nude version is kinda weird.. another reason I didn't move forward with Melow, but it's still well drawn. Just not suited to my style. The nipples in that are off o.O It's been interesting collaborating with all these artists to find 'the one' for sure!

They all are very skilled artists there's something I like from each of them. Melow's version of Bonnibel has more of a natural saggy breast look. It added a bit of age to her and made me wonder if she was a MILF. I went back to the game and took another look at her. Nope, it was just the way Melow drew her that made me think that. I had a whole story going on in my head she quick college early to raise her child and decided to open a bakery and Crush.. lol. She posted a NSFW version as well <a href="http://melow-melow.deviantart.com/art/CM-Bonnibel-of-Crush-Crush-629085884" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Bonnibel.</a> Mur did a great job with exception of the eyes. Her style feels more digital while your style reminds me of an early anime style with higher spectrum palette. Tonee, all I'm gonna say is Wow!

Whew, glad you were first to praise Tonee and now I don't have to either pass commenting or sound like I went straight for the most explicit one... XD Because like you say - his style is perfect! Anatomy, colors, details... everything. I really think his art would blend in with your own work just fine, hope you manage to reel him in - good luck!
