Alpha - Auditions
🕑 Added 2016-12-04 15:55:40 +0000 UTC Some of you might know that we have an open casting call for talented voice actresses, and we've been receiving tons of auditions which is really great. We've narrowed down a few now but more keep coming in. I'd like to post a few here to see what you guys think but I won't give share any of our feedback in case that influences your vote/comments :PHere are three actresses who tried for Alpha! Please vote on which you like more, or leave any feedback in the comments <3
First two lines were read by Maya Tuttle. Second two were Mel Gorsha, and the final lines were Aokikuri.

Another great set of voice actresses. Maya sounds more like, Alpha to me! You should hire the other ladies from all the auditions and make new characters around their voices!

Update: we offered the Alpha and Bearverly roles to Maya since she was fan favorite (and her Bearverly was AMAZING) however after she read through the scripts she declined, not wanting to be associated with a game that has a NSFW version. On the bright side we're excited that Mel accepted the role and we can't wait to hear all her Alpha lines!

To me, it's definitely Maya Tuttle.

Yeah, but that's kind of normal for a Asian pop star voice, they kind of force a "little girl" type whine into their voice to make themselves sound sweeter.

Oh geez, this is a tough one... They both sound great for Alpha. I might like Mel a little better, but I want her for Nutaku-chan and I'm not sure if you'd have her do multiple characters lol

a approve. <3

I think they sound whiny and unnatural in some way, though Mel less so, so out of those choices I guess I'm for her.

I guess I like the first better though they both sound too cartoony to me (which as someone mentioned Pamu's more of the cartoon character on the roster).
I'm trying to imagine these with a slightly-robotic voice filter. I really liked Maya's enunciation of "heart", but a lot of her second line drifted into an unexpected accent. If it hadn't, her take would have been my preference.
