3D Model Iro
🕑 Added 2017-05-23 05:23:34 +0000 UTC It's been a long time coming, but the 3D models of our girls to be used in Yandere Simulator are finally making some major progress.I regret commissioning an acquaintance to do the initial batch of 3D models, because he really dragged it out over months and months and finally delivered the models and they had less-than-steller results... Now I have found a new modeller who is so much better! You can see a preview of the old and the new in the above image. It is pretty darn cool seeing them in 3D, especially in the Yandere Sim style ^_^
On the left is the T-pose (not rigged) model that was first done... it only had materials which means you can only do flat solid colors. Pretty bland in other words. Then on the right is the latest one I received from the new modeller, who is a trillion times better! It has textures, rigging (for posing), and matches both the YanSim and Crush Crush style much better. I'll upload more as I get them, and will make the future posts hi-res. Excitement!!

So true! Yandere Dev and I went through all of his rival characters and found that they matched up perfectly with some of the girls in Crush Crush. I guess it makes sense with them being based on common anime tropes like tsundere, etc.

Eeek. Compared to Artist Panda's shading / detail work and the 3-D model for the Mio figurine from earlier, this Iro looks kind of scary... O_o But I'm guessing it's the low-poly look of Yandere-Sim ... I like Ayano more in 2D - I'll take vectors over low-poly anytime :)

If Cassie were to be added in YanSim, I'd bet a lot of players will mistake her for Ausana :P
