I honestly think the drag strip mustard yellow is a result of XTBs mistaking the cartoons poor attempt at shading Drag Strip as to not be a solid mass of yellow as the characters designed color palette.
My Dragstrip box wasn’t bagged and had clear seals instead of the typical white XTB seal. Not sure if everyone had the same. The paint on Dragstrip is underwhelming at best and it’s got a couple weird tolerance issues. My only issue with Dead End are the unpainted black sprue tabs just below the headlights and a small chip at the base of the hood (180 rotation). Otherwise, the materials & build are better than expected, based off my low expectations going in, and both are decent overall. Solid 6 or 7 imo.
