Hush Hush - Quill - Sketch to Final
🕑 Added 2019-12-30 00:45:00 +0000 UTCHere's a progression showing my original thumbnail sketched overtop the background art, so that Mur could see what I wanted. She then drew her sketch, sent it to me for critiques (those are my notes on the second image), and then she did the flat colors and sent it to me for approvals before working on the final beautiful shaded version! I still have some color work to fix up on it (it's a bit too bright to work with the background) but this is where it's at for the moment. There are about 40 CGs like this done now, and we'll probably have between 80-100 when the full game is done.

Looks excellent. Only change I would've made is having the hair on the right side of her head (our left) so the top went back behind where her hand is, and then have it fall off from there. It's a trick used often in landscape pictures showing rivers through valleys, allowing those rivers to look a little more dynamic and give more depth. I'd say it'd make the hair look more as though it was falling off the bed... But that was the only change I'd make and it's very minor... As it is, though, it's excellent! Makes me wish I could invite her home to warm-up.
