New Art Tests
🕑 Added 2023-12-05 14:21:16 +0000 UTCEvery now and then I get in touch with artists who are looking for work, so I always start with an art test to see how well they match the Crush Crush style. These are 2 different artist's tests:
Darya - you can see my paint-over and notes on the left, and the artist's original image on the right (plus their sketch).
Then the other image is by another artist, who drew Elle and I let them choose a new outfit concept. They also concepted a new girl (the one with the colorful outfit).
The proportions and style look much closer to ours in the Darya art test, but what do you think?

They all look good, but yeah the only one that isn't completely obvious is Darya. I do like that Elle outfit though

When you point out the diffrence i can tell its not 100% crush crush style But its very Close I can barely notice and i been looking at the game for over 7 years XD

Very cool, I would fail, I’ve never been great at the human form, even in anime. That’s why I stick to my blob and bug characters lol
