GTA 4 & Episodes from Liberty City - Beautification Project

It will significantly improve both graphics & effects, and optionally add some new content. Even though Grand Theft Auto IV & Episodes From Liberty City were not designed to be modified, it's still possible with the use of some editing tools. The graphics of the games are not bad, but they are pretty far from the graphics of GTA V. The world of GTA IV & GTA EFLC also can't compare to the incredible details of GTA V, but with this modification guide, GTA IV & GTA EFLC will come closer at least with regards to render & graphics.

Hi Dave, thank you for your comment. Let me guess, you are using Windows 10 with the latest update? In mod section 4, G4BP Graphical Overhaul, you will see the note: "For Windows 10 "Creators update" users". There you will find the fix. :) ..The problem is the "Creators update" for Windows 10. It forces Windows's system d3d files to take priority over local d3d files. (Those inside game-folders). This causes all kinds of errors in games. Crashes, messed up graphics, extreme slowdowns, and some games that won't even launch. ..Fortunately this can be fixed in two simple steps. Hi, I went through the list in order and did everything as directed and the game was spazzing out. Basically it would not load, was super sluggish, blinking lights, etc. I tried to boot it a few times with no luck. Going to install the mods 1 at a time next and see what happens. Think I will just skip the Openiv stuff as it is fairly time consuming. If I can get this to work with mods consider me becoming a patreon!
