this strip annoys me in a vaccum because joyce/dorothy and asma talking past each other is frustrating, but the fact that the broad strokes picture asma is drawing here can be read as either What Happened At The Literal Event and What Happened To Your Love Lives made something click for me re: the entire narrative intersection between Joyrothy Culmination and Bulmeria Protests and the way the emotional narrative's circle was successfully squared, at least in my opinion? im gonna sit on it for a bit tho, bc with my track record i'll probably be proven wrong within the next couple strips, lmao
