On Daisy, sure. On the couple? What? No. It might not help the purity of the cause for two unrelated girls to smooch during a protest, to have the centerpiece of your life as a setpiece in theirs. But that's what having broad support means, you've attracted the presence of people for whom this isn't the most important thing. If you don't want the support of people who are there for selfish reasons, you don't want to win.
