I think making Joe wait this long for the promised talk is a dick move but Joe has already established where he stands. He’s okay with Joyce being with Dorothy however she wants so this happening now is not something that wrongs him. But Dorothy not having all the information isn’t fair to her. And there is something fucked up about keeping information from someone that might make them rethink wanting to have sex with you if they knew.

Also just to be clear: My problem right now with this situation is Joyce not telling Dorothy about Joe before this goes down because I do not think she wants to break up with him and I feel like Dorothy has a right to know that. My discomfort with all this is because I feel like Dorothy is consenting to sex under a mistaken belief Joyce is letting her be under. If Joyce took two seconds to fill Dorothy in and then they had sex I wouldn’t care.
