I know this is out of release order, but don't worry, I'll go back to release order after I finish Hawkeye in a couple of weeks! Definitely looking forward to the MCU movies/shows that are next :)

I am glad you enjoyed this movie. I feel like a lot of people I talk to don't speak highly of this movie but it's one of my favorite MCU movies. Just because I find Yelena and Alexei both hilarious, and I think they bring such a fun banter to the show.

Good morning Addie, Since we are going to be heading into phase 5 of the MCU it might be a good time to watch the X-Men films. They are going to be a part of the MCU and are being referenced in the films now. For the most part you will not be disappointed. Black Widow was suppose to be released first anyways before the pandemic hit xD I do love the Hawkeye series, mainly because Hailee Steinfeld is gonna be in it!

Ill come back for far from home, i'd rather wait to watch it in release order with you. I understand you and the casual fans wanting to "watch holiday themes" & Hopefully it'll all make sense to you. Im disappointed you aren't going to watch daredevil before hawkeye tho. You will have to watch that show anyway, no matter what, for movies and other shows (more then just hawkeye) to make sense, So its strange that you are watching it before hawkeye... Anyone who tells u its not connected is so wrong (you can do your own research)! If anyone has been keeping up with what's coming out in phase 5 especially, its a huge factor in the MCU (daredevil). Release order is the safest way to do it, yes even for phase 4. I know its your choice and i do hope your journey works out!

Going out of release order with the MCU is like reading a book and jumping ahead by a couple chapters then going back to where you left off. The more you do it the harder it is to keep the story straight in your head. I also have never understood the need to watch movies and shows that happen to occur around a certain holiday around that holiday. It's not like you can't imagine what that holiday is like without actually being close to that holiday.

Storywise, I agree, though Multiverse of Madness is better experience wise when watched with the 3rd Spidey, IMO

I really like this movie! The only major gripe I have with it is that they don't explain Taskmaster's superpower/shtick explicitly enough. It's so much fun to try and catch all the references to the various fighting styles from our heroes we've come to know and love, and none of my friends I've talked to, nor any of the reactors I've watched, had any idea that that was going on. Everyone catches the Captain America moves. But did you catch... - Spider-Man's flippy kicks - Winter Soldier's signature "knife-flip" - Hawkeye's trick arrow - Black Panther's vibranium claws - And of course, plenty of Black Widow moves The original soundtrack for this movie also really stands out! I'm guessing it may have benefitted from the additional ~18 months in post-production they had due to COVID. I have it in my Spotify rotation, it's just so good! 😅

But I must warn you that there will be TWO SNAKE scenes in that movie, at least it's one snake scene less than Gladiator (2000). You got this, Addie. Please be brave.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 I'm so excited that you're watching this movie. I know that there was a lot of mixed reactions for this movie, however I really liked it. Dreykov was a great villian in this movie. I really like how we got to see what Natasha was doing in between the events of "Captain America: Civil War" and "Avengers: Infinity War". Love Florence Pugh as Yelena. She and Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff had that great sisterly chemistry. And now we know that the vest that Natasha is wearing in "Avengers: Infinity War" is the one that Yelena gave to her at the end of this movie. And yes, the post-credit scene is setting up "Hawkeye". And you'll eventually learn more about Valentina Allegra de Fontaine(Julia Louis-Dreyfus' character) as you get more into Phase 4. Have a great day & weekend! 😊

Oh no! By watching the MCU out of release order, you created a rip in the fabric of reality, causing a rift in our timeline. Somehow “Blade Runner” (1982) is now part of Phase Three. So, um… you have no choice but to watch that next. 😁

addie i’m so glad you loved this, it’s one of my favorites. it’s about healing, family, sisterhood, forgiveness, and not letting trauma define you or your place in this world. also i completely agree with you about dreykov, he’s scary as hell because ppl like him exist in the real world. also it’s totally ok to watch some things out of order! do what works for you!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Speaking of Florence Pugh, I suggest Don't Worry Darling (2022). And speaking of ScarJo, I suggest The Island (2005, directed by Michael Bay, WARNING!: There's a brief SNAKE scene in that one) & Ghost in the Shell (2017).

Happy Friday, Addie. Black Widow (2021) definitely kicks off Phase 4 and the Multiverse Saga as a whole. I enjoyed seeing it with my girlfriend and two friends of ours. It definitely gave Nat a great backstory in between Civil War & Infinity War. I even found Yelena's complaints about the pose very funny, even when she posed herself. Next up, in the Phase 4 movie lineup, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021, pronounced SHONG-chee), but make sure you watch Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) to wrap up Phase 3 and the entire Infinity Saga as a whole. Other than that, I'm glad that you've watched Black Widow so you can get to Hawkeye.

Fun fact, you still have one movie left in phase 3. Spiderman far from home. I think you should watch that, then do hawkeye. Edit: only because it's the last movie in phase 3 then to jump around phase 4 all you want. Just my opinion because it takes place literally right after endgame so the mood and the vibes are still fresh
