I'd say he's closer to a thinking man's Spielberg, but, yes, all of his films are worth seeing.

You should start with his first film, "Following", and work forward from there. Nolan is the Kubrick of this generation. Each film is a unique masterpiece. He hasn't made a clunker yet.

"The Jerk" remains my favorite Steve Martin vehicle, and a handful of other channels have at least reacted to it. Alas, I believe only You, Me, & the Movies has reacted to "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid."

I like Memento, Inception and Tenet. One on the list I haven't seen... so don't know on that one.

Inception's a neat blockbuster movie, but I still think Memento's his best.

I know right. IMO, it's the most overrated Nolan movie. At least Oppenheimer (2023) is the runner-up. I would love for her to watch that movie because it just came out on digital today. On top of that, most of the action movies that Addie has watched involved sci-fi, a genre that she's been drawn to. I do hope that she ventures into the realm of straight pure action.

It doesn’t surprise me that Inception would win the poll. Most of the Millennials in here probably voted for it. While better choices like Memento and Insomnia get the short end of the stick.

Yes please, I'm rhythmically stomping my feet for this. Oppenheimer (2023) must become the runner-up to Inception (2010). Plus, she & Jeremy have already seen Barbie (2023). #OppenheimerForAddieCounts

Granted, "Following" is his weakest (and least well-known) film. NO ONE reacts to "Insomnia," though, for some reason. 🤔

By the way, Addie, not to overload you with movie recommendations, but if you like Steve Martin so much, it is a CRIME, as you would put it, if you have not seen "The Jerk." Also, you would probably like "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid," an 80's film that is purposely done in black and white and combines clips of old movies with Steve Martin edited into them to look like he's part of the plot, or rather, that the plot of a bunch of old, famous, films, some noir, is incorporated into the plot of the movie.

Inception, all the way!!! But.... I do need to see Oppenheimer still. So, I guess I can't vote for Oppenheimer. :( Hopefully it's not really the best Christopher Nolan film....

Oppenheimer is a must watch no matter what. Even if it don't win, it's so dang good. It's also a new movie coming out, potential to bring lots of viewership 😉

Inception is a great film. Just make sure to pay lots of attention. BTW, you skipped Following (1998). That was Nolan's debut.
