I apologize- I think I have already posted once, but does anyone know if Addie has ever seen Casablanca? (with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Berman) I would recommend if she has not seen it. It has been called the perfect movie. I have to say that I agree with this idea. It is the perfect movie.

Matthew Smith

Please react to Fly Away Home! ❀ 🐣 πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

William Jackson

I'm new here I just want to say your the best and want to know when I check a movie does it have to be entered somewhere or is it automatic entered

samuel Jakob

maybe u found it by now, but I think the YT edits for those 2 are only on camillas channel as addie is trying to promote her friend a bit.

Byrd N. Hand

Slip an action movie in with a bunch of dramas, and the action movie still wins... πŸ™„

Chip MC

what a good list

Pendragon1951

I just went through her movie twice and I didn't see those movies, unless they were a patreon bonus, because on her channel there is no hangover movies

Pendragon1951

really, how did I miss that, oh I know why, hate those movies, but I'll check it out now, thanks for the info:)

Byrd N. Hand

See below: they did the first 2 "Hangover" movies together.

Pendragon1951

This is kind of an aside but many people would like You and Camilla to do a reaction together, we just found out the other day that she knew you unless it's a heck of a coincidence that she has a friend named Addie who is a reactor as well:)

Ernesto Lopez

Too many movies in one poll

SavageDiplomat

Robocop is everywhere but A Few Good Men is rarely reacted to. Had to go with that.

PHILLIP CORNISH

It's all subjective but "You can't handle the truth" πŸ€ͺ😘

Insufferable Smartypants

Need to put "A Knight's Tale" with Heath Ledger on the list.

Anthony Jackson

i did scarface and robo! both must watches!

Anthony Jackson

jeez...... how is scarface losing by so much!?

PHILLIP CORNISH

#afewgoodmenforaddie 😜

LaserLamb

Addie, you really should see all these films, it's just a matter of in what order do you see them 😊 I say go big or go home: "2001" & "Apocalypse Now".

Kyle Brandon Sanger

So many great choices, and a few of my favorites like 'Sicario', 'Apocalypse Now!', and 'Scarface'.

Fernando

Please Don't let it be robocop Don't let it be robocop Don't let it be robocop

MoulinNoir

for me it's Dead Poet's Society, Usual Suspects, and Taxi Driver for my top 3 off this poll full of good titles

HeyHeyJK

Wow, this is a TOUGH list right here. Gotta go with "2001: A Space Odyssey" because it's still considered the most influential scf-fi film of all time and a 'must see' if you're a true sci-fi fan. After that, I'm going with "Apocalypse Now", then jumping ahead to 'Sicario" because it's fantastick (I mean, has Denis Villenueve made a bad film at all so far?). I'm sticking to those three for my actual votes, but "Taxi Driver", "The Usual Suspects", and "A Few Good Men" are kind of tied after that.

thomas king

Almost all of these movies should be watched

HeyHeyJK

The "best" film on this list? Um, no. It's great, definitely in the top 5. Actually I think I'd put it at #5. Maybe 6.

Sean

A Few Good Men is the best film on this list. Robocop is very violent. The Usual Suspects is a clever indie style film.

Joe Mallard

American History X is a must watch!

Simone's Coconut Squire

Pretty much β€œYes” on this list

camilla

voting for dead poet's because i literally just finished watching it about 10 minutes ago and i want to talk to you about it. hehe

LittleGalaxyBoy

According to Jasbro, it seems like RoboCop has appeared in a good number of polls before but has never actually won. So it was only a matter of time before RoboCop takes the top spot in a poll, especially since it has become a popular reaction trend across most reaction communities in the past year. Reacting to older Superhero films, such as Robocop.

Byrd N. Hand

Every title on this poll that's *not* "RoboCop," "A Few Good Men," "Scarface," or "Sicario" deserves more love, IMO. At least "2001" is starting to close the gap a bit...

Thomas Wetherell

Apocalypse Now deserves more love.

Byrd N. Hand

I'd rather go for "American History X," since I feel Addie has never really watched a 'hard' drama for the channel (not one without ties to either the war or crime subgenres, anyway). "The Green Mile" probably comes the closest.

Byrd N. Hand

... or she can do like Ashleigh Burton and 'elevate' herself before watching it... 😏

Phil Stubblefield

My take would be Dead Poets Society, A Few Good Men, 2001, and The Usual Suspects. I know Robocop will probably win, but here's to hoping for a miracle... ;)

Julian San

Everyone just wants shock value with RoboCop and see you grossed the F out. I think you should play it safe and stick with our boy Tom Cruise and watch A Few Good Men. It’s a cable tv staple. Second choice would be Scarface to complete my personal Crime Movie trifecta of Godfather/Goodfellas/Scarface.

Phil Stubblefield

Great idea!

LittleGalaxyBoy

Taxi Driver right now: https://youtu.be/TYsulVXpgYg?t=121 I think it's just a matter of people voting for the films that catch their attention right away. I feel that most people see the poll, vote, and then move on to do something else. Some will comment and hang around for a bit, maybe reconsidering their votes after taking a longer look at the poll. Since the film heavily inspired Joker, the idea of watching that inspiration would be really cool, especially right after seeing Joker. I guess it's not peoples go to choice.

Andre Agog

Oh its got to be Robocop

Byrd N. Hand

Yep. Only on Patreon can we get a poll that has 5-6 of some of my favorite films, and 3 of the ones I don't care about at all end up getting the most votes. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ (At least "2001" has now moved into 2nd over "A Few Good Men" and "Sicario.") *OK, I *do* care about "Sicario," since I saw it not long after its home video release... and while I remember liking it, I hardly remember anything about it now. πŸ€”

Luis Fernandez

If 2001 wins, please consider watching it then filming your outro a few days later. Let that one simmer before giving your final thoughts.

Byrd N. Hand

The lack of votes for "Taxi Driver" so far is truly perturbing... especially given Addie's recent reaction to "Joker." πŸ€”

Thats MR. Baldamort

lol, robocop can be in a pool of Oscar winning movies and it would still win a poll. No shocked at all thst it wins every poll in every reaction community lol

AniLunchbox

Since you just enjoyed Christopher Reeve in Superman, might move Dead Poets higher up in your list to watch his good friend and Julliard classmate Robin Williams in one of his best dramatic roles.

Randolph Tirazona

I'm just sitting here with my little finger and ring fingers crosses, my index and middle fingers crossed, both thumbs crossed together, my arms crossed together, eyes crossed; my big toe and second toes crossed together and my legs crossed together... Can't cross anymore as I don't have enough dexterity in my toes! Or maybe because I'm too old to... 😸

Alex Tan

That's a good name for the spinning wheel. Mine was 'Wheel of Addie' but Addie's 'Wheel That Counts' sounds much better.

Byrd N. Hand

Bear in mind, everyone, that both "Sicario" and "Scarface" are on Addie's 'Wheel That Counts' for potentially watching later this month...

LittleGalaxyBoy

RoboCop, starring Peter Weller, will forever be one of my favorite films. It’s a brilliant blend of action, sci-fi, and social commentary. Fun side note: Peter Weller also voiced Batman in The Dark Knight Returns Animated Film, which I find particularly fitting since RoboCop always reminded me of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, especially with the satire. Another standout film starring Weller is The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984). It’s a wonderfully unique film with an amazing cast, blending genres in a way that few movies manage. Highly recommend, maybe for a 80s Sci Fi poll.

Jasbro

Robocops been in a few polls and never got close to winning, heres hoping this is its time, come on people make it happen.

Byrd N. Hand

I say everyone vote for most - if not all of them - so that they all remain close, and Addie will have no choice but to watch them all over the next few months. 😏

Doug

This is a great list, I don’t think there’s a bad movie in the bunch. πŸ™‚ I went with 2001 and The Usual Suspects just because I think I’m in the mood for one of those a little more than the others. But honestly there’s no wrong choice here.

Ben

There are a lot of seriously good films here, just make your way through all of them. American history x gets my vote, its an unforgettable watch

ButtercupsTrueLove

I voted for one of the more popular movies but kinda hoping that one of the three that i have NOT seen wins this poll.

Chase

🀞

Ben

One of my all time favorites, fingers crossed

Mark Dahlen

I wish I could request the usual suspects but I've been requesting Sicario every poll. I would suggest all of them. But start with Sicario!! Pretty please πŸ™

Chase

I feel you bro 😎 I’m pulling for it to win also

Tom W.

Everyone must see the original Robocop.

Byrd N. Hand

... which is why I'm kind of pulling for it to win. Frankly, I wish she'd just watch all of them, no questions asked.

Chase

American History X is a good movie but a hard watch

Alex Tan

Good choices here, but I stand with Randee Carreno and I vote for Dead Poets Society (1989). Carpe Diem! #DeadPoetsSocietyForAddieCounts

The Uber Geek

A few good men, RoboCop.

Chris Shine

Sicario πŸ™Œ but then you have to finish the Frontier Trilogy (Sicario, Wind River and Hell Or High Water) but they're all amazing.

Byrd N. Hand

Wow. A poll in which I'm going to vote for the majority of its titles. Haven't seen one of those in a very long while around here... ❀️

Randee Carreno

All great choices for this poll. However, "Dead Poets Society" easily got my vote. 😊
