Fun Fact; The pigeon Lady was played by Pierce Morgan

2024 Harry & Marv should be getting out of prison right about now, I'm ready for The Rated R sequel.

Ronnie Venema

"That's a great view he had there".. while he's just standing on the roof of...... THE WORLD TRADE CENTER!!! πŸ˜„

Also, Mr. Duncan (Eddie Bracken) also played Roy Walley in "National Lampoon's Vacation."

They ran the commercial for it ad nauseum! I can still hear the lines in my head, "stop drooling on me!" and "hi kids, we're home early". And it was literally just a portable tape recorder--nothing special. Something lots of people already had in their home. But the design for it was just so freaking cool., futuristic and sort of art-deco.

Doug

On a trivia note, the pigeon lady was played by Brenda Fricker who won an Academy Award for supporting actress in My Left Foot (1989).

The first one is more memorable for me but I like the traps better in the 2nd movie. The 2nd movies traps are funnier and more deadly. In all fairness, Marv and Harry should both be dead. Marv should have died from the first brick to the head. If for some reason the first didn't kill him, the second should have. Harry should have died from the explosion.

Addie basically summed it up for me at the end, this movie is pretty good but I like the first one better, not only because this one feels like a rehash of the same overall formula but also because I feel like Kevin has more character growth in the first movie.

Dark Shogun

I wanted one of those SO freaking bad as a kid. Never got one though. :-(

Just a few weeks ago I was reading a list of the top selling toys by year since the 1930s and Talkboy was on the list, it had to have been incredibly popular that year!

The country's been getting gradually ruined for the last 40+ years regardless of who's been in the White House. Corporations and billionaries/hundred-millionaires have *way* too much influence on the whole system now. πŸ˜’

since i myself was electrocuted a few years back... not realistic =(

Trumf was the best part

Thats MR. Baldamort

Wouldnt shock me if he demanded to be. Dude is a grade "A" narcissist low IQ moron who is going to ruin this country.

Did anybody else ask for a TalkBoy for Christmas after seeing this? Between this movie and all the commercials for it, they got us kids really hyped up for a fancy looking tape recorder. I remember I had to wait a couple weeks after Christmas to get mine because "Santa Claus" was completely sold out of TalkBoys. But that worked out better because my mom ended up buying me a GameBoy the day after Christmas, which was WAY better than the TalkBoy ever was. I don't think I ever did a single prank or scam with my TalkBoy. Mostly just recorded stuff off TV.

Marv turning into a skeleton never fails to break me!!

Alex Tan

He used to own The Plaza Hotel and the cameo was done at his request.

LMFAO I have seen this so many times and im just now noticing Donald Trump shows up in this for a few seconds.

Byrd N. Hand

It's pleasant enough, but, my god, it re-uses SO many of the same damn story beats from the first one. 😬

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 I've been looking forward to this one. Like with the first one, this is a must-watch movie all year round. And I watch it a bit more during this time of the year. I like this one slightly more than the first. I'm thinking that it's because Tim Curry is in this one. And I love pretty much everything he's in. Also, the traps that Kevin sets up in this one are a bit better. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today, and a great weekend. 😊

Phil Stubblefield

Believe it or not, this is one of those holiday "classics" that I've never seen. Looking forward to watching it with you! πŸŽ„

Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). I can agree with you that it's just as fun and just as entertaining as the first movie. BTW, nice Christmas Tree headband. And a year after this movie came out, and when it was about to come out on VHS, Tiger electronics released an actual Talkboy tape recorder.
