I think you should watch Meatballs next. It’s a good, old summer camp movie and Bill Murray’s first movie. It’s got heart too and is a little bit wacky. I hope you give it a chance. Happy 4th.

LOL. That's why we need to break the fever with another stressful war movie. My recommendation is the Christopher Nolan movie Dunkirk (2017). It's more of a survival thriller that's definitely gonna give Addie a lot of anxiety. #DunkirkForAddieCounts And I would also love to see her watch Twisters (2024) as well, when it comes out on streaming. #TwistersForAddieCounts #MoreStressfulMoviesForAddieCounts

Not only that, I'd argue it's basically the "Goonies" of the '90s, in terms of centering around another group of kids and their cameraderie together and being highly quotable.

Happy Friday, Addie. I totally agree with you here, The Sandlot (1993) is DEFINITELY the perfect summer movie. In fact, it's the perfect FEEL-GOOD summer movie. I own the 2013 20th Anniversary Blu-ray of the movie. My favorite scene in the movie will always be the Trabant ride. It gave me a huge laugh attack because of them puking at the end from chewing tobacco before riding. IMO, I can rewatch that scene on repeat.
