Hi David, Can you expand on the changeover to Comet tanks during WW2. Were these formerly exclusively Cromwell units, how much retraining was required and how many were in service by the ETO wars end?

I have a boarder terrier who is also very prone to crutiat ligament problems. My question is what maintenance did a standard western tank crew carry out on their vehicle?. i guess Red Army tankers had to do everything including engine change-outs!
