Weak price point IMO. $387 worth of boxes MSRP for $649. Draft kit is $15. Playmat and promo are very nice but not worth $250 in my view

Everything about the game is awesome, except the marketing team. But at this point, that's fine. We don't need Sorcery to go to the moon like MetaZoo. Slow and steady is fine for a new game like this. What we do need is more teachers and ambassadors of the game hosting free game nights with the starter precons and free drafts with the bulk commons and uncommons from boxes. Love the game? Teach someone to play!

This promo release is approx 2,500. The first beta promo which sold out in 2 minutes was 1,000 kits iirc. His second beta promo was 2,000 and sold out in 15-20 minutes iirc?

(1,250 kits x 3 boxes) x 2 = 7,500 boxes (2,500 kits/promos) if my math is correct. Only 1,500 boxes more than Beta and 500 more promos.

The free tendies aren’t in second sets. The flippers are gone. >1500 kits in less than 30 minutes is pretty dang good in my opinion!

Interesting. I too was expecting a rapid sell-out. That tells me that either the game is less popular than I thought, or they over-printed, or Rudy just got a ton. I guess time will tell which is which.
