Fantastic. I just bought a C128. Fortunately mine was in much better condition. It was not yellowed and cleaned up well with some wipes and alcohol. The power supply is a different story, it's quite yellow and the cord is covered in black scuffs. I have an Atari 130XE that is very yellow.

Not personally. I have read accounts of those who did. It is a double-edged sword. Apparently sometimes it still goes yellow again. Only, once the coating is applied it is impossible to use retrobrite on it again.

Great video as usual! Regarding the retrobrite treatment, I was wondering: have you experimented with applying some kind of UV protective coating to keep the plastics from yellowing down the road?

Hmmm.. Interesting. I guess I could have used black maybe. I tried to use the most contrast I could find.

On 4:36 the color surrounding the chips is clearly visible on my phone (iPhone 7) but not that good on a tv. I showed your episode at the office today (brand new 65" LG) and I don't know but it wasn't that clear. Maybe better use a more contrasting color. (Instead of green? Colorblind here :))

That's too bad. But I kind of suspected that already. I don't think it was ever officially released in the USA. I have Giana Sisters for my Amiga and I think it plays just fine on my NTSC system, though.

Just checked CSDb and really, nobody ever NTSC-fixed it. Would have loved to point you to it but nope. And from what i can read it would mean a huge rewrite of the engine. :/

Yes.. it is a PAL version, I'm pretty certain. I don't think I've ever seen an NTSC version of this game.

Hüslbeck sounds strange on NTSC. And what are those white flickers? Are you playing a PAL version on a NTSC machine by chance? o.o (Sorry for going full frontal Breadbin Nerd on this, it is my most favorite 8 Bit machine and i am somewhat in the scene, being a Dienstagstreff member... :) )
