Self-Driving trip to Dallas
🕑 Added 2025-04-13 23:35:26 +0000 UTCDavid Lovett (from Usagi Electric) and I take a trip to downtown Dallas using full-self driving. This is a 40 minute contiguous un-edited video. I'll be using clips from this in the main video (still in the works), but I'm also going to keep this full unedited video online as well, because I suspect there will be people claiming I faked the drive, and thus if anyone has any doubt, they can watch this in its entirety.
That being said, we have a lot of fun chatting about the technology during the trip, and things like "the trolley problem" and weird edge cases. David Lovett is super nervous at first, but after a while manages to relax. And as you'll see, it takes us all the way from my house to the parking garage with zero interaction from me.
Anyway, I just thought I'd post it here in case anyone wanted to watch it and get an idea of what the next video will be about.
