yes, cold weather reduces range in an EV. Depending on the model and how it is designed, it can be as little as 20% and as much as 50%. Here in Texas we don't get more than maybe a few days per year that the weather is cold enough to have a serious impact.

My house flooded last year from a broken faucet. I feel your pain. Hope you can return back to normal as soon as possible but I'm guessing construction work will get delayed from all the demand. I was overdue to join your Patreon anyway...so here is hoping my little bit helps! Stay safe.
Sorry David. I wish this wasn’t happening to you. Try not to see it as a setback. You have a opportunity to make some content about the rebuilding. Maybe you can even add some Ethernet jacks at the same time. Nice to see the new studio is alright. Are electric car range capacities diminished in cold weather? We had a day up here at -22 Celsius, driving to work, the inside of my car windows frosted over. Hopefully, it’s all good from here on out. Stay safe.
