Hope it's the Richardson location, that's the closest one to me, lol

CubicleNate

I am totally in favor of that. Though, I do enjoy PETSCII robots on TheC64 Maxi. I feel like it is a good fit. :)

The 8-Bit Guy

Well, I'm not going to do it. But if somebody else wants to... sure.

Are you going to do a Windows/Mac/Linux port on Steam? It should be fairly doable with something like SDL.

Andres Bravo

The PS3 Port when?

The 8-Bit Guy

I don't know. I guess whichever one they tell me has a spot available.

VicM

Love the idea David! Which DFW Free Play location are you planning on placing it?

Lennart Sorensen

I definitely agree with waiting until things settle down before doing such a thing and you know the state of things. Certainly would not involve boxes or media at least (at least in my opinion).

Perhaps you need a frequent buyer card. Get 10 punches for PETSCII Robots purchases, and 1 PETSCII Robots digital version free! {insert laugh track here}

The 8-Bit Guy

Well, I've wanted to do that for a while. The trouble is, I'm not sure how to handle the issue that more and more systems are still being worked on. Each of those has to be funded with its own sales. And I'd hate to sell somebody a $50 bundle today, and 6 months from now have to sell them another one because 4 new ports became available. So I'm sort of holding out until most development on new ports has stopped or at least slowed.

The 8-Bit Guy

I'm not sure. I should think it would work. But I guess we'll have to wait for somebody to try it to be sure.

Lennart Sorensen

I keep hoping at some point there will be a 'All the digital versions' bundle for like $50 or something like that, just to be able to play with them and compare them.

Do you know if the PSP version will run on a Vita? A lot of PSP games are cross platform in that manner. I also assume it's still $10, or since I've already bought it for the C64 does that matter?

Paul Fisher

Reach out to the nostalgia nerd he did an amiga documentary a few years back and it was very concise but brief as he had compressed it into a 40min video covering the amiga in the 80s

Shachar Shemesh

I'm not sure I'm an expert, but I used the A1000 a few times new, and owned and programmed an A500 extensively. In fact, I wrote the Hebrew support for AmigaDos. I actually still have the Amiga ROM Kernel books.

So now i need to buy a PSP? :D oh boy... Ebay here i come (again) :D

Cody

Super excited to see the arcade conversion!
