Approaching 10 years now with lots of data and understanding social media, im completly numb to the swings now. I expect it and my family and I actually treat it as a video game guessing if we will be over/uner 10 quitters on a friday night. We enjoy it now :-)

on average 10 accounts are closed/banned/locked out every friday night. In the bear market of 2022-2023 this was around 3 accounts on a friday night...since no one cared and wanted to buy anything. As the 2025 year continues and markets heat up further, i expect it to peak aaround 20 accounts on a friday night will be purged.

I recall I was able to preorder 4 boxes @pokemon center for this set in Japan, and quick after release stocks disappearing from everywhere and boxes starting surging in spike, almost 2x now. Then I see what happens there in the US. Then I recall that for battle partners preorder were limited to 1 box instead of 5, that I waited almost 10hours on the website to get a chance to preorder mine. No stocks nowhere, so much roar that they did a second preorder wave few days ago that went even crazier… This pokemon demand is going wild

I’ve been a patron for a while now. Periodically, there is a product where, for whatever the market reason is, Rudy can only get his hands on a limited supply. But, there is potential for high demand. The sale starts, 3 minutes later, sale is done and people that were not ready on the trigger get mad that they didn’t get a chance to buy. So they rage quit.

I'm debating this sale. I don't think the price of Prismatic will take any big hit in the near future, but I do believe there will be reprints up until September at the least from what Pokemon Company has said. So there may be another chance to buy on future restocks. I think I'll try to get on this sale and if I miss it I can try again on restocks.
