Single box is pretty rare. Shipping isn’t super efficient and Rudy doesn’t charge for shipping. It can happen on occasion but don’t plan on it. Typically 2 boxes is the low. Sunday’s sale, for example, will be a respond to post for a full case of the finish line bundles. They’ll sell out in approximately 30 seconds if I had to guess.

It’s my first rodeo with Pokemon in this manner. I’m used to just buying stuff to enjoy with the kids and film some YouTube content while we’re at it. But since the only way to find product is bouncing around stores wasting my time or buying off of ridiculous Neanderthals, I decided to join Alpha Investments when I saw the openings. Found you (Rudy) on YouTube in 2023 when I got back into the hobby and started holding back some 151 product as an investment and future rip with the kids when they grow up. All in all, I’m really enjoying the economics of it all more than anything; coming from more traditional investments. Edit: Wish I came in on a bear market to be honest. A lot easier to buy in when shit’s flying all over. 😑

Correct, and it will remain this way for the entire year. When you have hard market upswings, most businesses and people are not ready for it. Therefore no one held inventory and big box stores had very little on order for a long time. You would have to be an insane person to keep over buying everything in the crash and stay the course like nut jobs like me. Welcome to economics.

Great question, ALL pokemon sales take Tcgplayer pricing + tax included. Then i remove a discount of lets say $10-$30 a box. I use very basic forumlas like that to try and keep the pricing fair and accurate. This is 1 of many reasons why pricing isnt announced in advance, since the prices could drop lower by the time of the sale or spike higher. Therefore requiring last minutes changes up or down to keep the system stable. Pricing too cheap...brings in the "FLIPPERS" and a run on the product and it sells out in seconds. Pricing too high causes anger and account closures. Balancing Human behavior is extremly complex.

It is...all delays...no matter what...ALWAYS cause around 10-30 account closures and even some paypal disputes/chargebacks from individuals that are very aggressive or simply bad people. It is a mental game of navigating emotions and making decisions that require refunding/banning difficult and unreasonable humans. I find it unsettling and nausiating at times, but we live in a new era that requires it.
