Commander X16 Manufacturing Update

For me the „high“ price of the Commanders X16 is total reasonable. And hey, for me it is worth every cent!

Great Idea! That’s actually the same Design Idea the Guys around the Spectrum Next took. They even let the FPGA emulate the Z80. However the question remains how such an approach violates the Idea of „Retro“though... 🙄

Hey David, since you decided to use an FPGA for the graphics anyway, would it be feasible to have that FPGA emulate more components? Would this be a way to reduce costs and get around the sound chip shortage? Or have one low costs version of the system, which is emulated on a FPGA or on the MiSTER project?
