Soldier, Poet, King, but it's in a minor key and 50% more Medieval

We created a twist on the song Soldier, Poet, King by The Oh Hellos (their debut album is very Bardcore in flavour and I highly recommend it).
This was a tricky challenge because the song is already very folksy sounding, and has been popular with the D&D and fantasy nerd crowd since it came out. I decided to switch it to a minor key, slow it down a bit, and have a little fun with the instrumentation and structure. There are many many covers out there, but I hope you enjoy our take on this one.

Is it possible not to enjoy this song?

Amazing! I had never heard the original song, what a pleasant way to be introduced to it this is. As always I have a great chance of liking your cover more than the original. 😅

Love this. I’ve always been partial to minor chords and this is so beautiful. Thank you 💖💖

There's something pretty magical about singing with a sibling. :) Thanks so much!

Yes, it makes it somehow more sinister! Thank you, and best of luck with your new campaign!

The minor key and the slower tempo make it sound a tad bit more threatening. As if it were a last attempt to warn "them" to repent. I like that. And since I am working on a new campaign, this will definitely be an inspiration for one of the adventures. Thank you.

You and Friar Funk have such great vocal harmony together. Im glad to hear him on one of your songs again. Keep up the good work, you two!
