I liked the throwaway bit of worldbuilding about Choji's crisps actually being high-tech calorie-dense food supplements. Fits your general theme of taking the Ino-Shika-Cho clans more seriously than canon bothered to*. Which I also like. * Because they weren't Sasuke-kuuuuun's clan so why would they matter, amirite? I swear canon Sakura was Kishimoto's _real_ author insert.

My first reaction to this was horrified laughter when it really seemed like Ino's girlfriend would start eating someone. And then *did*. Well, bits. Sakura, no, Orochimaru isn't literal finger food! Ino discovering what Sakura has done to herself walking the path of the ninja biomancer was almost the same. Not as funny, though. Never would have caught it was Kakashi, though. And I've read the side-chapter we see his face in! Sorry about the situation, thank you for the chapter.
