The general consensus seems to be that... Hellion is confusing xD I know it just started so not much has been established yet, story/character wise, which is completely understandable but also it's a little more abstract from my other works, so I get it! It's to be expected but I guess I didn't realize the volume of how confusing it might actually be
I don't know if it might help but I can recap what has happened so far? (I'll also try to be more descriptive in my captions on future updates if that helps too)
They're in a hellish realm called Gehenna. The angel at the beginning is using the demon (they're called Hellborn in this) to seek out another Hellborn. This Hellborn's name is Hideous and he's not too happy about looking for another one of his kind, because he's supposed to be the last one. He wants to absolutely destroy the other Hellborn (he's no longer the single child so that makes him violent lol). He is very dramatic and the angel he's with knows it, so the angel will either put him in his place when he gets out of hand or let him just go off (temper tantrum) until he's done
They find the other Hellborn, he's in a little womb/pod thing in the ground lol it wasn't mentioned but I call it a crypt <:
Then we shift to the other angel who's just kinda chilling beside a corpse next to the veil - which is like a massive skin-like wall. idk if anyone noticed but the corpse has a little beauty mark next to the eye > > so anyway, the veil starts to move away from him (this was really hard to draw tbh, it's difficult to convey movement of a big flat-surfaced object in comic form xD;;; so I hope the dialogue at least made it clear that it was moving). There's reasons why it moves that are still vague so it's 100% cool that anyone reading is like wtf is going on haha;; more on that will be revealed later! To the angel, it's symbolic and good, but it's also very dangerous if anyone gets caught in it - which is why he's fretting about the person on the other side (*hint*the corpse*hint*)
So that's it for now! TLDR: There's two Hellborn, one's named Hideous and he's supposed to be the last, but he's not anymore and he's pissed about it. There's two angels (it hasn't been mentioned yet but they're called Heavensent), their motives are vague atm but one is seeking out a second Hellborn while the other waits. There's a skin wall thing called the Veil which is ominous or a blessing depending on who you ask.
There will be porn! It's actually kind of the plot xD I'm sorry that it's not jumping straight into it but we'll get there! Just a heads up tho, this whole comic is intended to be kinda surreal and "wtf is going on" is totally a vibe so even if it gets weird or confusing at times I just hope you all enjoy the ride anyway, haha;;;
Another thing I noticed: a few of you have pointed out is that it's hard to read and for that I apologize! I'll add more spacing in the text/dialogue for future updates if that helps. It's the same font that I use for Beast of Prey so I hope that one's not difficult to read too.... idk, is it? No one's mentioned it before OTL
Also, I realized that Patreon doesn't let you zoom on Hellion posts like it does for other comic posts because I have to make it a "text" post rather than an "image" post due to the long format. This is really annoying tbh but I've been working on my website, Hellion's Den, on and off in my free time so when I have a page set up for Hellion hopefully it will be easier to read there. Again, I'm really sorry if that's causing issues with legibility/readability
And hey! If you just don't like Hellion, that's cool too xD it's kinda... idk, niche? So I hope that my other comics are more appealing to those of you as well. My future comic, Iron Hydra will be a lot less....surreal?weird?abstract?? in the way that Hellion is, but it'll have a whole lot more character development right from the start. It'll have porn in it too of course, but it has a thicker plot and more characters in it as well.

I'm honestly kinda blown away by it all, and to those of you that especially said such nice things about the art style... thank you / v \ <33333 I work super hard to get those visuals just right so thank you so much for the compliments, I really appreciate it! <3

Thank you for the post and the explanation! I just wanted to mention one thing because you pointed out the font. I will say that makes it really difficult to read for me. But I thought it might just be me because I learned to read English much later than I spoke it and I’m a slow reader in general. I always mistake the “o” for an “a” and it’s also similar to the “d”. In beasts of prey, it’s a little easier because the story is linear, but I think the surreal style of Hellion makes it a little harder for me to interpret the text so that might add to the confusion too.

I don’t think you need to apologize for no porn yet! I enjoy story-first plots as well, the porn is juicier then ;) but also that summary just helped so much, lol. Now I get your vision. Like I said, sometimes stuff is a lot easier to digest when more of it is out so that you can get chunks of solid exposition, but these kinds of updates with not a lot of explanation in each one makes it rather blurry, so I appreciate this.
