Next drawing? Botan sketch
🕑 Added 2023-05-02 19:13:56 +0000 UTCFor the past few days it has been hard to muster the joy or drive to do much drawing🙁 But I did feel a sudden burst of inspiration tonight for some Botan after browsing some artworks of her!
The one upside of these "breaks" is that I tend to spend more time watching other people draw and picking up some ideas or techniques. Tried a few here. I did end up realizing that others draw...really fast😅
Really wanted to try drawing some long hair. I do prefer short/medium hair, but i'll admit that sometimes it just works really well for a composition

Thank you. Hopefully it will look great when it's finished. I do try to take breaks, but as it is in life, there's always something that pops up. Especially when you try to take it easy for a day haha.

Thank you, glad you enjoy the sketch so far! Yeah, I did try that, but whenever im in a tense mood, it's difficult to draw anything. I wish drawing wasnt so tied to my mental state

Well it wasnt THAT long ago haha. I did kinda want to draw more Mio to be fully honest, but Botan won me over. And learning from others is great, but usually I dont have the time to watch full videos and pay attention. so this was nice

Very excited to see more work done when you get the chance! The composition here is already looking lovely. Take breaks when you need them! It's always gonna be best to approach these with a clear mind and maybe even new ideas.

That is a very alluring pose Botan has. Thank you for sharing. I don't know if you'd find it useful, but a few other artists I follow tend to get a good recharge from designing/drawing new OCs.
