I really hated how I portrayed it in the canvas version, it was the absolute first chapter I made in 2019 and I was very limited by my lack of confidence in my artistic skill and didn’t know how to convey the emotions I wanted to properly in this scene. I can’t wait for everyone to read the new version!
I also placed this scene later in the story because I no longer feel it’s necessary right off the bat- I feel it lead to many readers to make false conclusions about Osora‘s gender and situation. Rearranging and rewriting things to hopefully help with that the second time around!

Yes I do plan to include more details about everything !! I am going to break them up into different flashbacks, but I really plan to build on more of the characters aside from the main 4!

I'm so excited to see this! I wonder if you'll include more potentially dramatic details about how this happened, such as whether she got to see or hold baby Osora before she died, or what her last words might have been. I think those details could weigh really heavily on our present-day characters.
