Silly little comic dub we did in one day to give myself a break from editing all the other stuff I'm doing.
Here's all the other stuff I'm doing:
I swear I'm still working on this OP project. I swear it's going well. I know it's not the video most of you are interested in seeing made but I swear it's getting done I swear. I can't post embedded video previews on Patreon other than the one at the top of the post, so I'll just show you a few screenshots of title cards I've been making.
All of these are animated obviously, but I don't want to spend the time to turn them into .gifs.
Honestly I think I would've finished this a month ago if I wasn't moving. Moving is so hard. I spent 3 hours on the phone with FedEx just yesterday to get one of two insurance claims for the $600 of damages they owe me. Long story and forty phone calls short: I shipped most of my appliances and tools from LA to Toronto and almost all of them were lost for 2.5 weeks. We had to track them down in person in the warehouse and get lucky in order to find someone willing to locate them. Most of my irreplaceable stuff like collector video games and consoles were fine, but two of the boxes were absolutely pulverized.
Jesus Christ, guys.
Obviously the ocean of exploded spice frying all the electronics is bad, but please note the condition of the box. It was like that before opening. Really take in the rounded edges, the rips, and the tape filled to the brim with seasoning.
Anyways we've been dealing with that kind of stuff. It seems like every time I can stop focusing on one thing, a new problem appears and gets in the way of my work.
For Jello Plays Games fans, I do have some good news. We're finally back to an official "Fully-Voiced" playthyrough. And it's even a game I like! Oz and I will be returning as Luke and Layton for the very first Professor Layton game (we played Layton vs. Ace Attorney years ago). The Layton games are a lovely time (at least the first three of them) so I'd definitely recommend joining!

I'm also working on the last two Epithet songs in an official capacity. The Lullaby is first, then the big-ass Giovanni Villain song as the grand finale.
Also, I'd like to do something to celebrate 5 years of Epithet Erased. It doesn't feel like it's been that long, but that's what a pandemic does to you I guess. Let me know if you have any suggestions for stuff you'd like to see me do! I don't want to go wild with it because I already have a lot on my plate, but if I could at least set up some smaller streams with other actors or preview stuff like the TTRPG book, that might be nice.

I would love a preview of the ttrpg book! Maybe you could stream a one off of it beinh played? You could have someone else GM it to take that level of stress off of you

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Not just for silly dub, but I also because that first comic is one of my absolute single favorite comics for years, and I had no idea who made it until now. Also, Kiane and Will killed it.

I mean, my two suggestions would either be an official Epithet YouTube Poop or an EE real-time fandub of sorts, but the former would require a lot of editing work and I know you've said you can't really do with the crosstalk of the SnapCube fandubs (so maybe something like an Epithet Erased abridged series?), so I dunno. Excited for more Layton though.

I almost forgot what that puzzle was, then I glanced at my keyboard while typing and my memories were cast open like Pandora's Box (or the Elysian Box in NA regions).

I feel like you have a secret curse where every single company that works with you is suddenly possessed by the devil and does everything in its power to screw you over You could do some merch for the 5 year anniversary, just like a custom logo on a shirt. Or more epithet erased meet and greets. I love the idea of of the streams though

Something is wrong with the shipping industry istg. On 3 separate occainsions I've had broken bottles of glass with tiny pieces all over everything else delivered at work. Full of hundreds of dollars of inventory.

The only thing I can imagine is they have a tame elephant at FedEx who stepped on it. Like, Jesus Christ, even a cheap pan is difficult to warp like that.

I can't imagine you'd have interest in this, and depending on the current status of the TTRPG book idk if it'd be even doable. But a Epithet one shot using as many of the current rules as possible would be a really cool "remember where it started" kind of thing. With obviously a big disclaimer of "THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN"/"ONE TIME THING". But that's just a thought that comes to my mind.
