"Now you're polluting the water table" is my response to the roman practice of throwing every executed criminal in the Tiber. If only they had a modern understanding of germs they probably wouldn't throw festering corpses into their water supply :(

Kinda odd seeing Octavian bash plebs all the time in this show, when IRL he was a plebian himself (a wealthy plebian family but still plebian.... I don;t know what attitude rich non-nobles like him would've had towards poorer non-nobles tbf....)
