I think they were planned together because they dovetail nicely. There are no crossover clips that I remember and yet both episodes are coherent with clear points of view. I know I had jokes, but these were executed very well if you think about it. The writers and editors actually cared and took the time to do both episodes well.

I forgot there were 2 clip shows in a row. I guess one was at the end and one at the start of a season when this originally aired?
