I just finished editing that scene. LOL (It's going up on early access overnight) I roasted him again for this beef with a kid. Also, I was taken by how freaking big the alien guard is compared to Roddy. There's a moment where they stand facing each other and the size difference is remarkable.

To highlight what you say about this show not really having coherent arcs. They made a really strange sequel to vifam in the early 1990s that's 26 episodes long, all shoved in the period of the show where they're in space. Odd to make a sequel that's in the middle of the previous show, not after or before it! Sadly, there's been no official or even unofficial translation of that sequel series so I've been unable to watch it =(
