You may have realized this in editing, but King and Diane’s fight wasn’t over because only the one opponent was destroyed, there was still Drole’s substitute left to fight. Also, if you didn’t pick up on exactly what happened at the end there, Escanor directed his attack at the commandments hosting the festival, not Gowther- so they’re knocked out (at least for now)- I’m guessing it might be a while before you watch the next, you left yourself on a bit of a cliffhanger lol

King recognized Gloxinia’s substitute- it seemed to be modeled after Gerheade (the fairy loyal to King and who attacked Ban/Elaine back in the fairy forest)
