One more thing- I could be wrong, but I think in the scene where Jinshi asked her if she’d like a different room, Gaoshun gave her a death glare because the implication was that perhaps she would be switched to Jinshi’s room lol- but maybe there was a translation issue or just cultural context having to do with stables that we don’t get because of Gaoshun’s strong reaction when that’s what she asked for- he seemed relieved (or like his typical face palm jeez expression lol) when Jinshi turned that down haha-edit: now that I’ve thought a little more about it, the stable thing could just be an optics issue- if she were to sleep in one, it could be viewed as her potentially being abused or just treated extra poorly- like she was being forced to be there like an animal lol (even though she would probably like it haha)

I initially thought that conversation at the beginning of episode 13 between Jinshi and the emperor was a flashback, but it might actually have been “current,” making the wording correct and not a translation error of Jinshi already being the “gardener of his flowers,” and perhaps another proposition was being presented to him from the emperor, that we currently are not privy to
