I have some ideas, but it would require more research on my part, especially regarding blend shapes/shape keys. But it could be cool.

Kpop Demon Hunters has a very interesting facial rig, with lots of cartoonish exaggerations! Are you planning on recreating the rig style as well? Would love to see it <3

There are a couple of ways to fake that, you can create a custom shader to project fake caustics or try some of this tricks for Eevee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hVo_NuzAcU

Oh my god oh my god oh my god!! I LOVE your shader work- always. On all models!!! °O°)/) ♥ Also.. honestly, seeing the crystals I wonder: how would you tackle "caustics" on a characters skin? Say the character stands up to their thighs in water and caustics would reflect on the skin. How would you tackle that? It something I have been battling for years with, in eevee... xD
