FLIP fluid information video- Parameter/Settings overview
🕑 Added 2024-06-29 18:04:49 +0000 UTCI was having a difficult time figuring out how to handle the videos about the fluid shot with Nyro and Cerenthea. Originally I thought "well, I'll just record me explaining stuff and what I'm doing with my sim at each step." Which is what I did but I was unhappy with a lot of the talking so I thought "I'll just edit this down and re-dub it."
I was writing a script for myself and as I was writing it, I kept having to explain more things while explaining 1 thing... so I thought "what if there was a video where a lot of the basic details are covered so I can focus on explaining more complex stuff." Here's a mediocre video about the parameters and settings I change the most with the FLIP fluid add-on:

It can be for a game technically since I think Unreal (maybe Unity too?) support alembic. So you could export your fluid bake as an alembic for use in a game!
