Gyra game update
🕑 Added 2025-02-16 00:52:44 +0000 UTCI think this might be the last major build update for awhile... I can't figure out a good direction to take the game. I don't know if I can commit to a full game so developing a piece of the game like it would be a full game seems like it might be a bad idea... so I'm thinking it should be like, something that can be self-contained. Like it's a dream or you're in a virtual world/cyberspace for some reason (and there's bug monsters) and wake up at the end.
So, if you have any ideas for setting/short scenarios in a dream/virtual world/monster ideas, let me know!
I mean there would still be lewd FMV and stuff but I don't think there would be much story for now.

(also btw pushing carts doesn't do anything now! The monsters are just there without having to do anything)
The active gameplay isn't much different (only big change is the ring menu is a lot more functional + the item swapping functionality) so if you don't want to play it again this video shows off the new stuff:

I've also drawn some concept art for bug monster designs though. This is what the new lil bug goon would look like I think! 0t4ku had a great idea and suggested a "w" shaped mouth. It does a good job of adding an "insectness" without it being too intimidating or weird looking.

It's black and white striped! Which means... there could totally be a bug centaur zebra alien guy (which would probably be the boss monster!)
That was my first sketch for this creature (I haven't done any more sketches of him yet)

A story about a small time dragon that worked a retail job but learns he's the chosen one and sets off on an epic adventure while also getting laid too? It's literally cinema, I'm here to see his story go through ❤️

You got it right, whatever flavor text there would be it would mainly be informed by him being horny. That animation is a good inspiration actually... if there are alien eggs that should be something you can do to them!

Sorry for the late response but feel free to message me whenever you can! I'm thinking about the idea of Gyra going on an interplanetary adventure... maybe that could be a good framing for things. Idk if you've ever heard of Brave Fencer Musashi but it was a ps1 zelda-like RPG where you play as a fictionalized version of the samurai Musashi but the premise is he's teleported to a different world because he was the chosen one or something. Could be like that, like for some reason Gyra is the one (Also if you know about the Matrix Neo is "the one" and Neo is an anagram for one so maybe Gyra's name is an anagram for their word for "chose one" like Ry'Ag or something, as a little nod towards the Matrix lol) It could work, it's just a matter of figuring out the scope of things, like if this should be a whole game or just a small thing. Even if this were to be a full game I think I'd want it to be relatively short, I wouldn't want it to overstay it's welcome!

Gonna be taking inspiration from the post 0t4ku here for this idea. Gyras looks like the type to let his dick dictate how he acts waaay too much from the flavor text and dialogues, He'd totally be the type of goon to just start fertilizing some eggs on an alien spaceship because he thought they looked suuuper fuckable and he totally had to own the aliens epic style. This was also inspired by this anim i found on e6 a few minutes ago and thought "Hey Gyras would look cool doing that" https://e621.net/posts/2432529

I don't want to take over you game, however if you are looking for a story to go with the game (cause I don't want this idea to just be relegated to a short NSFW arcade game), if you give me maybe a week I can give you a few narratives and see what you think about them. As for actually PLAYING the game, I gotta set up my desk and bed and such (got my apartment finally!), I'll probably let my thoughts out on the next Gyras post, unless I can message you about it beforehand. I already have an idea that Gyras could be traveling to a few planets in his galaxy and finding new alien life that he can show his gamer skills on, a dream come true, as well as flirt with/mate with them, all while stopping a threat to the whole galaxy
