I used the forest environment and to spice things up I animated the fake shadows (which are just tree canopy shaped textures mapped on a plane and only casting shadows)
I just parented them to an armature and animated a simple waving animation on the bones and made that cyclical. It ended up giving a nice subtle motion to the shadows in the final renders!
I really like how the environment looks tbh... with the depth of field blurring things a bit you can barely tell that there's no real shrubbery, it's just alpha transparent shrub textures on simple planes :p it almost doesn't look like a very videogamey forest.
I was also working on a town area (inspired by messing around with some old, era-appropriate textures I found on archive.org). I still can't decide on the story and stuff fully yet... but I have decided it'd be fun to feature characters from the Star Erotics setting in this in a Deltarune kind of way (Cerenthea would be a powerful magician princess/queen who rules over her subjects with a kind heart and everyone thinks she's hot) They have statues of her in the town!
I think it looks pretty good!? Like some real cutting-edge-graphics-for-the-90s
I was wondering what this town area looks like closer up (for like, FMV purposes) and... it actually looks kinda great when there's heavy compression at 480x270. Real FMV vibes.

Thank you!! Yeah I'm still working on the new logo thing, I do agree it's too distracting though and blue/pink or some other gradient would be better. When the time comes that'll be replaced with the actual thing (recently I've been working on animating it for the deep dish thing and for future animations)

The town really nice so far and absolutely love the cerenthea fountain design❤️ especially the water coming of her pussy X3(and the boobas ofc🤭) And this finished shot of the bug alien is absolutely amazing and so hot^ ^ beautiful sound design ofc, my god gave those big bugs some huge juicy dicks😋💕 also you used your new WIP logo in that shot, it’s really good but the rainbow text that said “VREX” was a bit distracting imo, I’d use the same pink n’ blue gradient color of the “milf magnet” text as on your characters hat, I think that fit better.

Never seen it but I love backgrounds like that, whoever painted them did an amazing job. https://archive.org/details/the-three-little-pigs-1999 I can't wait to have some npcs walking around and stuff! I still need to settle on a good direction to take things but if there is a town-like location where you can talk to people and go into shops and buy stuff in the game this would be it.

So obviously I love the animation with sound, love hearing that releasing liquid sound and all that sweet sticky nectar coming out, but I also love the lore building we're getting as well. Look at that statue, so Cerenthea is a popular figure around your whole universe I see! Loving the town look, if you ever saw the 1998 Australian-created Three Little Pigs movie, towns with the dirt paths, walls, shops and stuff. I look forward toe xploring the town, seeing people walk up and down the streets, ect
