Love the Reddit part. Also track 5s have always been taylor’s most vulnerable and often sad tracks. And she’s acknowledged in interviews that she has to think a lot about the track 5 because the fans and her put all this significance on it.
I absolutely love that you’ve looked a little more into the background of the song with the Reddit. I believe it’s probably a mixture between inspiration from a book Taylor read before this album came out (Rebecca) and her relationship with Calvin Harris. He never showed up to her events, was rumoured to be a bit of a possessive ass and was publicly really rude to her after they split up but that could be completely wrong
