Cowboy Like Me

It's definitely country, but it bridges the gap between pop pretty well. I enjoy this one, and I have a few laughs with the Reddit theories too. Enjoy!

I understand. I actually didn't dislike the song, but it didn't land for me like some of her others. Sometimes though when I'm trying to like a song, I'll focus on one instrument, maybe the bass, and just listen to that, sometimes that will change the entire song.

Ive been excited for your reaction. Honestly hoping your breakdown might make me like the song more. Idk what it is I love all the individual components of the song but it's soooooo low on the list of Taylor songs for me. I want the arrangement to be bigger if that makes sense

She references in a few different songs that when they first got together they were unclear on the status of their relationship, and he was the one to reassure her. "Back when we were card sharks, playing games I thought you were leading me on I packed my bags, left Cornelia Street Before you even knew I was gone But then you called, showed your hand I turned around before I hit the tunnel Sat on the roof, you and I"

LMAOO "Card sharks playing games lookin ass" isn't an insult as much as it may seem like one. Its like an inside joke I would say?? From the song Cornelia Street on her album Lover which is about falling in love with Joe.
