It really seems like there are decent amount of men who have just decided that Taylor Swift is for women and haven't even really given her a chance. When I finally got my best guy friend to give Folklore a chance he actually liked her but he would have told you without hesitation that it wasn't for him so he didn't like it. That's a weird thing but I think its at least somewhat common.

I'm a big Taylor fan. I think it's easier for dudes to be far more unabashed about what we actually like as we get older. I remember labeling TLC and Mariah Carey as my "guilty pleasures" when I was a kid in the early 90s, while being louder about liking Green Day, RHCP, and Smashing Pumpkins. Peer pressure, man. Definitely recommend doing Vigilante Shit. Not my favorite song, but easily one of her best performances.
