I think I commented this before, the Elric brothers, specially the Fullmetal alchemist is famous among people for their journey, they actually travel a lot helping people, it's just that those episodes didn't make it to this adaptation, but a lot of their adventures is in the first anime of '03. Also the boys are prodigious, in this world nobody expects someone so young will be that good at alchemy

As a reminder, when OG Greed reunited with Father and the other homunculi after getting captured, we learned a couple of pieces of information: First it had been decades since Greed last saw any of them, and second he found it preposterous that they had created Bradley, or specifically that they had created an aging homunculous. We know for a fact that Bradley and Greed/Ling were created with a human base. We also heard that Gluttony is some kind of failed experiment, and finally we saw that Envy’s “true form” is some kind of monster. We are pretty much in the dark for the rest. But while we don’t have any sort of confirmation on how the other homunculi were created, we can at least assume that something was different based on Greed’s surprise that Wrath is aging. You should draw your own conclusions from here, just wanted to reiterate some of the stuff we’ve already seen, mostly because you guys have discussed the aging of homunculi a couple of times, and I wanted to make sure that you at least have the puzzle pieces that should be available to you. Thoroughly enjoying rewatching this with you guys <3

However he was originally sent there to kill the rockbells, scar just beat him to it.
