I'm catching up with this reactions while watching along for the first time. I just lost all confidence in the people that were against this show back when it won its poll. There is no way someone think this is bad 😭

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)
The amount of times I've seen someone say/thought "Cannon kinna looks like..." I literally said the other day in response I guess he's one of those people who looks like a lot of people since it's always some random person about some random person lmao
The night is Dank and full of Memers
The Volumetric Control System Incident is one of the greatest slow cooks of all time. It has been hinted at since season 1 constantly, the Claudia Bernd scenes are so cryptic. The substance itself being so important to the entire show. Then season 3 we get introduced to the trio, they burn down Adam's HQ first scene so instantly imposing. Next kill Bernd and get master keys to plant. Then kill Claudias assistant and get the schematics for the VCS, then threaten the guy for building permit of the plant itself, then split up to go to both worlds and trigger the incident in both at the same time. For me the end of ep 6+ep7 is my favorite 90 mins of cinema ever haha.
The night is Dank and full of Memers
IMO the next episode cooks as much as the entire show combined before it.
Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)
Maybe I missed something, but isn't that just Adams position about his own circumstances and observations that he knows to be an anomaly? Not just some objective anti natalist perspective altogether?
Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)
Yeah I'm out lol
Ron Jackson Jr
same list bro hahah

Geks when we getting the new show?
Ante
Its funny I felt like I had a leg up on the Geks the whole time S1-S2 because i had already watched the show. These days its seems like they understand whats going on more than I do. I completely gave up tracking characters once the worldswapping started. Even on rewatch Im still struggling.

Martha is killed by Adam. Origin dies in that case. But Adam doesn't know that there is one more Martha who is pregnant and gives birth to Origin. Eve knows there are 2 Martha realities (the one that gets killed and the one that is her and gives birth to Origin), she also knows there are 2 Jonas versions. But Jonas doesn't know about 2 Marthas. All he knows one of the Jonas goes to the other world. Adam himself doesn't know this Martha, so it is easy for him to kill her. Also Origin is the cause of apocalypse in both world, as you see there is a split screen. They cause it in both world

Facts! I think it’ll be a good watch if they haven’t seen it already
A_Daddy Daichi
Would be really fun! I recently watched The Perfect Mix reactions to the first 3 episodes and I loved it
Lydia
With all these shows ending, a new Gek era is approaching 😬
Euphemia Isobel
I have a feeling Carter clocked it 😭
Connor Tully
I'm not sure if you guys ever clocked it, but we actually did see Bartosz prime in the original universe back in early season 2, when Noah pickaxes him

I also didn’t know her name lol. I don’t even remember it being mentioned tbh 😂

Jan Enns
Im curious what your thoughts will be when the series has finished, been loving your reactions a lot and imo viewing it with multiple people is the best way. If one guy misses something, the others can explain it. And y'all having different theories and discussing them is as entertaining as the show itself
JulioLG
I loved the outro guys, you are totally making the right questions, and answers will come.
JulioLG
Jonas pulling a Zeke/Xaver here, "if only I wasn't born into this world", against the Carla's "You don't need to be special because you were born into this world", always an interesting debate. I also see Martha has the mother perspective, she wants the knot to survive because the knot is literally her child, so she wants him to live no matter the cost, in this case suffering from others and the nice dude killing people in every time and verse to preserve the cycle.
Jan Enns
Its not sad imo, her name wasnt really mentioned before and she has only played a small role
JulioLG
Noticed the same, they thought it was 2020 but it was 1986
Joel
I mean I wouldn't say it's incorrect, it's just a matter of opinion. I don't subscribe to the anti-natalist position that Adam seems to hold, that living is suffering, therefore it's better to not exist. I would say that breaking the knot without the consent of those living affected is most definitely evil. Better to have lived, laughed and suffered than to not have lived at all. Imo :)
DARK EXPERT
Eve wants to keep the cycle going on forever, while Adam wants to destroy it entirely. While at first sight this might make Adam look evil and leading a path of destruction, in contrast to Eve which represents preservation. This is incorrect, Eve seems adamant and preserving a world where only a very few survive in a desolate world, namely her and her cohorts; in my opinion this is purely selfish and egoistical. Adam on the other hand is looking to break the suffering entirely by destroying the cycle, the knot. This is a very Schopenhauerian world view and Adam is the most sensible person in the room. If you can't fix things no matter how you try --And jonas tried alot-- the best decision to make is to end it all. No cycle == No suffering

not me refreshing seeing no update then coming to see your update
Euphemia Isobel
Originally my favorite episode was 2x6, but after countless rewatches 3x7 has grown on me. It could be an alternate series finale, I love it so much
Osiris704
I could see them possibly watching The Penguin. Highly rated on IMDB
py
Silja is the girl Jonas met in the future at the end of season 1. Sad they still dont know till now
Euphemia Isobel
Martha has a switch point, just like Jonas. One dies, one lives
Cindy Beach
I watched this all by myself, way back when, and I was so lost at this point. It took watching reactions to finally understand who was who and when they were, and from what world. So having a group discussion is miles beyond where most of us were. That said, the answers will come. And they do it brilliantly. Can’t wait!
The night is Dank and full of Memers
The Origin was doing the Volumetric Control Incident, not the Apocalypse, though they are interlinked, this incident has been hinted at since season 1 a bunch of times, always cryptic. This season we saw since episode 1 the Origin trio getting the pieces to make it happen. Master key, system schematics, building permit for the plant etc. Funny the thing Bernd was obsessed with covering up is what they come to kill him for. Apocalypse triggering = For Adam's world - Opening of the barrels, Elizabeth overloading the particle in the power plant future (2053), plus Fran and Magnus overloading the one in the Church in the past (1921), plus Jonas having reopened the passage (1987-2020) Eva's world, it is - Ulrich opening the passage, The Origin trio triggering the Volumetric control system incident (Hinted at since season 1 and a huge slow burn plot detail as the source of the substance!) Adam overloading the machine in his world, and the barrels being opened. The amount of stuff happening to trigger each apocalypse is so cool.
Elina
That's true yeah, what I meant more is that in that specific scene they weren't directly triggering it but my phrasing was kinda vague.
Elina
okay I've finished watching the debrief and you guys are both cooking and not cooking at the same time I call that quantum entanglement. Not gonna say anything else tho cuz the two main questions you were asking do get answered, but man I can't wait for the debrief when you finish the show. Watching it with you guys is like watch through number five for me I've deep dived so hard into this show I have to stop myself from explaining every little detail. Hyped for the beginning of the end.
Euphemia Isobel
Yes! But also since they created the substance they also caused the apocalypse (because that's whats in the barrels) so it works either way
Elina
I'm only like a minute into the post watch debrief but I just wanted to clarify that the unknown (Martha and Jonas' kid) didn't cause the apocalypse in that scene, if you look at the bus stop when the three of them go off to the power plant in both universes at the end you can see that they're in 1986. So it's showing that basically in both worlds they were the ones to trigger the "accident" in 1986 that creates the cesium substance that allows for time travel in the first place. The apocalypse is triggered years later in both worlds just by releasing the substance (by either Clausen or Aleksander). I didn't realize this until my first rewatch but yeah they go back to 1986 to cause the initial accident that creates the substance for the God particle in the first place. Man this show is so good.
Irie
waiting patiently for haikyu 😌 edit: not me refreshing every other minute 😂 second edit: still nothing 😢 third edit: just saw the comment they posted on last week’s episode, 4 episodes coming out tomorrow 🥳🙌🏽
