I still cant believe they couldnt find time for 2 episodes to be prepared before going on vacations but staying very consistent on 3 other shows with 30+ uploads so far. On the brighter side they mentioned since GoT is finished they have more time to spread around so maybe Code Geass can get more uploads per week to end quicker to get another show in.

I really don't want to be that guy but this is getting ridiculous. I understand that CG might be lower on the priority list and that you guys had stuff going on several times throughout the year, but CG is just consistently getting the end of the stick For reference you guys started this show in May, so if we went with 2 episodes per week we should be only a couple episodes from the finale at this point. Again, I understand you guys had important things going on, and I don't want to be a dick about it, but this is disappointing. Please consider a little about the people who are here for CG, even if they're only a minority of your viewers. I'd like to keep supporting you guys, but promising 2 episodes per week and not delivering has happened one too many times to not rub me the wrong way personally

It should be back on tuesday, they said since the other anime get posted to youtube they watched more to upload while being on vacation/trips so they didnt have the time to get to any code geass recording because youtube follows a schedule and patreon exclusive show doesnt.

They said they are only watching 86 when Neal, the other person who watched 86 with them comes back. The issue with long big name shows is they are missing out on the hyped new shows with only 1 season and all the short classic animes. They were reacting to Kaiju and chainsaw man but now with these longer animes that need their priority its harder.

Unless the time they had became shorter, they have the same amount to record a few Code Geass episodes before the trip like any other weekly upload. They uploaded over 30+ episodes (8 hours) so people think its impossible to not fit in less than 1 hour of Code Geass, again hoping for more than 2 episodes next week.

Yea they could've at least threw in 2 episodes out of the 3 weeks but they prioritized the more popular series right now. They did mention since GoT is done they can film more and finish Code Geass quicker to add another patreon exclusive. Heck maybe even a small binge would be a nice surprise.

I actually thought about this the other day. I watched death note when I was like 10, and I rooted for Light because I thought he was hot (I genuinely don't know why looking back lol). Now that I'm older though it is kind of insane that Light literally had a magical notebook of death, that requires literally no physical exposure from himself to kill, and still managed to get found. There was a little bit of plot convenience, like how the hell did L figure out who Kira's first victim was because surely criminals dying of heart attacks isn't a 1/10000 event, but overall it's wild.

Dont they have a time slot on the same day to watch Code Geass with Haikyu or One Piece? Haikyu gets 8 new episodes uploaded so far so im confused they couldn't wiggle in 2 episodes before vacation end of the week. Hopefully a big drop...or a binge to introduce a new anime!

To be fair we dont really know the exactly in show time frame, so its possible for companys to be geass'd and mass produce them like any clothing or equipment would be make in the real world. 1 mil is steep for sure but tis anime haha and the iceberg ship is actually a reference to something from ww2 so its not that crazy of a disbelief in their world.🤷♂️

Light is definitely smart I’m not taking nothing away from him but creating and running a nation and commanding a military force to go against Britannia playing politics on top of that creating non stop strategies and tactics even when he’s losing he finds a way out if not he learns from his mistakes and comes back better we literally watched him start from nothing yes the powers helped a lot but even you said it he’s going against some characters who are not easy to beat there’s a reason Britannia took over a 3rd of the world just keep watching until the end and you will see

We do have to take into account Lelouch has the power to command near anyone at will, and essentially got outsmarted by Cornelia real early in the show. Light also was against L who was essentially the government in itself, plus he folded the FBI overnight.

This is a really good question. At first I wanted to say Lelouch because he would have Geass'd Light beforehand to play well but then lose, however that would only work if Light didn't write Lelouch's name in the Death Note from Lelouch to lose eventually. Plus, there's no guarantee the Ruyuk wouldn't mention to Light how weird it was that Lelouch instructed him to lose just before they played (because Light would have no memory of being Geass'd.) But if it was just the two of them not using their supernatural buffs I think it would be Light, but he would be left overthinking the win was a ploy to learn something about him and that perhaps Lelouch let him win as a small part of a bigger plot.
